This course follows on from the Customs Procedures and Documentation course or can be provided standalone for those who are only interested in importing procedures. It would be suitable for those currently working in an import environment, who have never had any formal training, or those wanting a refresher course.
The course provides an overview of the end-to-end import process and reviews all the areas that would be applicable to a new supplier, to include country and supplier risk, payment risk etc. It will review documentation requirements, how to ensure goods are imported successfully to include duty payments and an overview of the available Special Procedures.
